Days of 76 Rodeo

The Days of ’76 Rodeo is a long-running PRCA-sanctioned rodeo held each July in Deadwood that celebrates the town’s 1876 gold rush heritage with professional rodeo competition, parades, and Old West festivities at the Days of ’76 Event Complex. In 2026, the event runs July 19–25, featuring multiple days of rodeo action including bull riding, barrel racing, saddle bronc riding, steer wrestling, and team roping, along with themed nights and community events that highlight Deadwood’s historic frontier spirit.
